The body is a beautiful flame birch with padauk binding & fret board cap. The purfling is holly & padauk. The hand-carved whale and bubbles sound hole is Christina’s design and is pau ferro & holly. I created a new style for the hand-carved scroll on the peg head. It was awarded Best in Division – Musical Instruments at the Artistry in Wood Exhibition in Anchorage.
