The body is a gorgeous curly cherry with wenge binding & fret board cap. The purfling is holly & wenge. The hand-carved Celtic heart sound hole design is a collaboration between Christina and I and is curly maple. This dulcimer was awarded Best of Show, Best in Division-musical Instruments & First Place-stringed instruments at the Artistry In Wood exhibition in Anchorage. Finish is a hand rubbed penetrating oil.
